Lomas del Pacífico is the gated hillside above Playa Mismaloya on the South Shore, on the south side of the Carretera a Barra de Navidad between the Mismaloya bridge and the descent to Boca de Tomatlán, reached by a short uphill spur; Callejón Lomas del Pacífico carries Blue Horizon, and Calle Richard Burton, named for the actor filmed here in 1963, carries Villas Plaza Mismaloya. Los Arcos marine park is offshore in view. Condos dominate: Blue Horizon, a thirty-seven-unit beachfront tower with infinity pool, gym and 24-hour security and dues near 11,700 pesos a month; Villas Mares de Verano, sixteen one-storey gated houses with two pools, septic and dues near 3,500; Condo Francia; and raw hillside lots from about fifty thousand dollars.

Buyers are American and Canadian second-home owners, retirees and rental investors who want the Los Arcos view and Mismaloya's cove a thirteen-minute walk downhill at prices well under Conchas Chinas. There is no street life; the Caleta Mismaloya restaurants are the neighbours, the Boca de Tomatlán pier and Sierra del Mar a five-to-ten-minute drive, and no grocery, bank or hospital on the corridor, Hospital CMQ being twenty-five to thirty-five minutes back through Centro; the airport thirty to forty. The cove has no lifeguard; hillside drainage and retaining walls need a rainy-season look; some MLS systems file the same corridor as Brisas del Pacífico; and foreigners hold through a fideicomiso.
