San Vicente is the most populous pueblo in the Mezcales belt and the largest locality in the Bahía de Banderas municipality, close to thirty-nine thousand people in the 2020 census, an inland working town of local-built homes on the Nayarit side about fifteen minutes from the airport, with newer master-planned gates such as Primavera Residencial, 24-hour security, pool and garden, delivering three-bedroom houses in 2026. Hospital Tondoroque is minutes away; the beach is fifteen minutes by car.
