Pontoquito, Pontoquito Estates, Paradise Coves, is a gated beachfront enclave about ten kilometres north of La Cruz at kilometre 10 of the road to Punta de Mita: ultra-luxury villas on a private cove, most of them rented through luxury agencies to high-end vacation renters, on lots of one to two acres with a private path to the sand. Buyers are North American second-home owners at the top of the bay. The highway is the only road, the nearest marina is La Cruz, and foreigners hold through a fideicomiso.
